VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows. Sandeep Parikh: "I agree with your solution to this problem. Making a law
stating that the women cannot undergo an abortion after the first trimester
is the best way to stop women for murdering innocent babies." Interviewed on Sunday, February 20th, 2011
Prachi Gandhi: "I agree with this bill because after the first trimester it's
really late and getting an abortion would be considered murder. I say that
prior to the first trimester women should be allowed to undergo abortion
because it's not fair if they were raped, but after the first trimester, women
should know for sure that they are pregnant and the baby is formed by that
time. So yes it should be illegal after the first trimester to get an abortion." Interviewed on Monday, February 21st, 2011
VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are
I agree with what both of them have to say. Sandeep and Prachi both feel the
same way about abortion as my group and I do. What Prachi said about how
it's considered murdered after the first trimester is true, because after the first
trimester the fetus produces a heartbeat which makes a human being.
